Marion-Polk Food Share was the very first charity we selected to receive a donation when Indie Oregon was launched. Child food insecurity is an ongoing problem, especially once the school year has ended. Even though our second “quarter” was only a month long, thanks to your support we were able to donate the equivalent of 60 meals for children in need.
Being socially responsible while contributing to the improvement of our community is key to our mission.
We have selected The Center for Hope & Safety as our third quarter donation recipient. Through September 30th, 2019 we will donate $1 from each item purchased directly from Indie Oregon to support programs serving victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking. When donating my own gently used clothing this organization is always my first stop, and that’s another reason they were selected.
The Indie spirit is complexly individual so we launched a new, small run of super-soft, heathered Blue, Red and Navy Racerback Tank Tops, just in time for the Fourth of July holiday. These really are one of a kind shirts, as in there was only one created in each size and color. The shirts are District Made brand, Tri-blend fabric, screened with sparkly silver ink. Available in Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large. They run pretty true-to-size, so go up a size if you want a flowy shirt!
Get yours soon because they won’t be in stock for long! Note: These tanks are available via our pop-up shop and are not in our online store since the inventory is so small.
Indie Oregon Tees, Tanks, Totes and Buttons are now in stock at Same As It Never Was Vintage, located in the heart of downtown at 240 S Main St, Independence, Oregon. This adorable shop is easily spotted under the “Sojourn” awning, and is open from at least 11 am until 5 pm every day except Mondays. Inside you’ll find everything from shabby chic furniture to apparel for humans and pets, plus quaint country decor. We are thrilled to welcome Same As It Never Was Vintage as our first retail partner!
We are excited to jump into the outdoor market season, and a favorite local market is now a place to check out Indie Oregon items this summer! We will be selling our logo t-shirts and tote bags at Independence Riverview Market on these Saturdays:
May 25 June 15 June 29 July 13 August 3 September 7
Located at Riverview Park in the heart of downtown Independence, Oregon at Main & C Streets. Market runs from 9 am until 2 pm. We will be sharing a booth with our friends D’Anu Wines from Hillsboro.
